About

Dr. Andrew Vardanian, Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, is the Medical Director of the UCLA Health Regional Burn Center at West Valley.

Dr. Vardanian is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who specializes in scar management and plastic surgery in adults and children. He performs scar treatment/management, elective breast surgery (breast reduction, breast lift, breast augmentation), cosmetic and aesthetic surgery (facelift, armlift, abdominoplasty), injectables (such as Botox, Juvederm, Kybella), general reconstructive surgery, skin cancer reconstruction after Mohs surgery, burn care, burn reconstruction, and pediatric plastic surgery.  He has a passion for complex wounds, helping patients with all types of acute, chronic, and burn wounds.  

He was raised in Los Angeles, and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, where he studied Human Biology. After medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, he completed a full general surgery residency at UCLA, and then a full plastic surgery residency at UCLA.  He then went on to complete a combined burn and critical care fellowship at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children, Boston.
