Daniel Dumesic, MD is Professor of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Dumesic completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California San Francisco. His clinical and research interests include female infertility, in vitro fertilization (IVF) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Dumesic is a leader in several internationally-recognized organizations and has served on several NIH research study sections and committees. He has received innumerable awards, including the Mayo Award for Excellence in Leadership, and is an nine-time recipient of the "Star Award" for more than 10 years of contributions to research for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Recently, Dr. Dumesic has been ranked within the top 2% of all scientists in clinical medicine by Stanford University. With over 35 years of experience in human studies, he has served as Principal Investigator for several NIH-funded and university-awarded projects regarding mechanistic and clinical aspects of female reproductive disorders and has published over 200 papers in the field of reproductive endocrinology. Dr. Dumesic has been named "Top Doctor" in Southern California Top Doctors.
