My name is Minami, I am a first year MECN student. I graduated with my bachelors in public health sciences and minor in medical anthropology from University of California, Irvine. My interest in maternal and child health came from my experience volunteering on a perinatal unit in the Dominican Republic during a medical mission trip! I am excited to use this opportunity to promote and minimize disparities in reproductive health.
