Roxana Rezai, MPH is a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology at UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health. Throughout her doctoral program and upon graduating, Roxana’s goal is to apply epidemiological methods to behavioral interventions that focus on improving health outcomes and addressing health disparities among disenfranchised and marginalized populations. She is particularly interested in mHealth and HIV among racial/ethnic minority and gender/sexual minority adolescent and young adults and examining how new technologies can be used as tools for engagement, recruitment, and uptake of antiretroviral medication for HIV treatment and prevention.
