Virginia Suarez is a second year MPH student in the Department of Community Health Sciences who received her BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley in 2018. Her previous experience includes work directly addressing families' social determinants of health needs, supporting community-based participatory research with Native youth, and assisting national projects that aim to improve care and lower healthcare costs for older adults. In addition to being a MCH Trainee, she is pursuing a Health Promotion/Health Education specialization and working part-time as a Program Coordinator for the FSPH Ambassador Program and a Teaching Assistant for undergraduates.
