Daniela Delgado, MD
Primary Care
Dr. Daniela Delgado is a primary care physician who practices in Beverly Hills. She specializes in the care of patients who identify as lesbian, bisexual, and queer, and has a special interest in transgender health. Her other clinical interests include adolescent health, PrEP/PEP, gynecological care and providing primary care for patients with HIV. She is board certified in family medicine and sees both pediatric and adult patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Delgado is a clinical instructor in the UCLA Department of Medicine and a member of the UCLA Gender Health program. Along with her colleagues, she is working to develop a curriculum for medical students that trains them to provide high-quality care for LGBTQ, transgender and gender-diverse patients of all ages.
Dr. Delgado received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her family medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Her focus throughout her medical training was on community-based research and the well-being of vulnerable populations. She was also a Rappaport Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, during which she worked at the Massachusetts State House on health care policy, specifically developing a strategic plan to meet the legal needs of immigrant youth and assisting the Joint Committee on Public Health.
Dr. Delgado is originally from Colombia and is a native Spanish speaker. She is a 2015 Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow, a prestigious award honoring the contributions of immigrants to the United States. When she is not working, her interests include running, reading and meditation.
