Dr. Sarkisyan pursued her undergraduate degree at UCLA, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Biology. Her passion for medicine led her to Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine where she obtained her medical degree. She then further trained in Internal Medicine at the UCLA Olive View Residency Program.

I am so lucky to have Dr. Sarkisyan and Staff as my primary care in UCLA Health. Doctor Sarkesian is an incredibly talented doctor. She always listens thoroughly to my concerns. She shows incredible expertise and management of my various chronic conditions. She manages to look at me as a patient from a whole perspective, looking at systems, and doesn’t just treat parts of me, but sees me as a whole individual. She manages a delicate balance of my medications, and encourages me to promote a healthy lifestyle. Her approach is compassionate and concerned. I can be vulnerable and honest with her. And her office staff is incredible. They are kind, smart, proactive and efficient. I am lucky to have this primary doctor and care team.

Dr. Sarkisyan was truly the best provider I have ever met. She was incredibly polite, thorough, and transparent. She made me feel important as a patient and gave me plenty of time to address any and all concerns. She summarizes the plan of action well and is very pleasant!
