Meena Garg, MD

Dr. Meena Garg has been a member of the UCLA Neonatology faculty since 2001. Sheaspiresto provide state-of-the-art and evidence-based therapies for neonates in a safe, just, and compassionate environment while continuing to teach and train the next generation of neonatologists and pediatricians. Sheactively engagesin quality improvement and compliance in the care of all neonates in the NICU. As Medical Director of the NICU, she maintains the most updated methods and modalities for caring for neonates undergoing NICU care. She provides leadership and guidance in the therapeutic hypothermia program and neonatal ECMO program.

Her clinical responsibilities include neonatal attending at UCLA RRMC and UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, and Centinela Hospital. She also provides clinical follow-up for the High-Risk neonates discharged from both Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica NICUs.She is active in international teaching programs. In 2020, she participated in the 10th annual "Advances in Neonatology and Perinatology" meeting in Pune, India.
