I saw Dr. Opene for the first time today. Being overweight is a very sensitive subject for me and I was anxious about the appointment. But he came in and wasn’t judgmental at all. He took his time and explained to me my options as well as the pros and cons to them. He allowed me to ask questions and didn’t make me feel like the questions were dumb. He gave me other resources to access and told me to follow up with him after I’d made my decision. The visit wasn’t uncomfortable at all.

Dr. Opene is by far one of the most caring, attentive, thorough and patient doctor I have ever worked with. He takes time to explain things and he listens, really listens.
