Alana Prisco

As associate director of media relations, Alana leverages a decades-long career in earned media to drive storytelling in the areas of cardiology, pulmonology and obstetrics/gynecology in local and national media. Her extensive career in healthcare PR has included leadership communications roles at several leading hospitals, higher education institutions and a global PR agency. Alana also has deep roots in healthcare and education journalism and holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Gender Studies from Washington University.
