I used to go to amusement parks all the time, but had to stop when my weight made it impossible to close the safety belt on many rides. I had been thinking about bariatric surgery for some time, but was on the fence for years.
I was scared. It wasn’t until I spoke to my neighbor that I decided to pursue surgery.
