Young Do Koo, PhD

Dr. Young Do Koo is an assistant professor in the Division of Endocrinology at UCLA. He joined Dr. Abel's lab as a postdoc in July 2016, following the completion of his PhD at Seoul National University in South Korea. His current research focuses on exploring novel regulatory targets of ULK1 and investigating hepatic lipid metabolism through molecular techniques and bioinformatics analysis. In his free time, he love hiking, barbecuing, and discovering new foodie spots and craft beer places. He is also a huge baseball fan.
