Telemedicine Visits Available

Your physicians at UCLA Urology want to ensure that your urological needs are addressed, even during this time of social distancing. Luckily, “telemedicine” visits (video appointments) are being used with great success in our Department to meet the needs of new and established patients in a convenient and safe manner.

Telemedicine visits are video-based and can be accomplished using your mobile device, tablet, or desktop computer that has a camera function. During a telemedicine appointment, your doctor can prescribe medications, schedule follow up tests, and create a personalized care plan for your health issue, including discussing any need for surgery. Your insurance will cover these visits in the same way it would an in-person visit.
