About
Nicole Antonville received her master’s degree in nursing from UCLA and has a bachelor degree in psychology. Her nursing career starting in the adult cardiac observation unit and cardiac critical care unit (CCU) at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where her interest for caring for adults with congenital heart disease began. She was eager to accept the new position of the Transition Nurse Coordinator with UCLA’s ACHD program where she has been working with Dr. Reardon since 2016.
Together, they have created a transition program, called SHIFT (Supporting Health Independence for Families Transitioning) as a bridge for the UCLA Children’s Heart Center and ACHD Center. It also is a resource for the local pediatric cardiologists in the community. The goal is to provide education to patients and families as they transfer care from their pediatric cardiologist to an adult congenital cardiologist. In her career, she is passionate about empowering young people, educating families, minimizing gaps in care and preventing hospitalizations for patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, hiking, and beach days.
