Alan Chin, MD

Alan Chin, M.D. completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles and then medical school at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He did his pediatric residency at UCLA. Dr. Chin is a faculty pediatric hospitalist attending at UCLA, caring for hospitalized pediatric patients at both UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Chin is Program Director for the UCLA Pediatric Residency Program. His main interests are in medical education, inpatient pediatric care, and electronic medical records. He is actively involved in both the mentorship and education of medical students and residents. Alan is passionate about maintaining a high level educational experience for UCLA medical students and pediatric residents, while providing excellent clinical care to hospitalized patients.
