Alex Remy, LCSW

Alex Remy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA Behavioral Health. She specializes in working with older adults, maternal/women's mental health, life transitions, attachment and identity, grief and loss, trauma, as well as navigating medical illness and end of life. Her treatment approach draws from a range of modalities including somatic therapy, humanistic and existential therapy, DBT, and motivational interviewing, and emphasizes the importance of establishing a warm, authentic therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, empowering, and tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Outside of work, she finds additional fulfillment through hiking, sci-fi, music, and spending time with her children, friends, and family.
