About

Dr. Leung completed her undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Bioethics. She earned her medical degree from University of Michigan and was a recipient of the Dean Merit Scholarship. Dr. Leung also received her master of public health degree at Johns Hopkins University and was accepted in the prestigious Sommer Scholars Program. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at University of North Carolina. During her residency she was inducted in the Academy of Educators for her dedication to medical student education. Dr. Leung enjoys caring for patients of all ages but she has particular interest in adolescent health, geriatric health, and discussing lifestyle modifications. She also has experience in women's health and community health interventions. Dr. Leung frequently volunteers her time teaching various health topics abroad and in urban communities.

After my PCP left the practice, I was nervous to establish care with someone else but Dr. Leung way exceeded my expectations! She is insightful and motivational and gives you concrete plans on how to better take care of yourself. I know I will be healthier because of her.

Dr. Leung is always so open and personable with her line of questioning and providing guidance, advice or reassurance. She never makes me feel like my questions or issues are too small or insignificant and listens to my concerns so well. I'm feel lucky to have her as my doctor!
