Dr. Andrew Mathew is a primary care and immediate care physician who is board certified in family medicine. He cares for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics. He sees patients for chronic medical conditions, acute sick visits, annual physicals, specialist coordination, women's health, pre-participation sports clearance, school physicals, immunizations, mental health, and in-office procedures. He serves patients throughout Los Angeles and accepts most insurance plans.
Dr. Mathew earned his medical degree at the University of Miami and completed his residency at UCLA. His clinical interests include global health and preventive medicine. He strives to provide a medical home for patients through evidence-based medicine with access to UCLA's renowned network of specialists and resources.
In his free time, Dr. Mathew enjoys traveling with his wife. He enjoys exploring new cultures and experiencing new cuisines. He also enjoys long walks on the beach with his dog.

He was efficient friendly knowledgeable and kind. He really listened to my concerns. With a warm demeanor he quickly addressed my concerns. First time I met him but he made it seem like we had known each other for years and it felt like he was genuinely trying to help as opposed to simple check the box and end the appointment to move on to the next. Dr. Matthew really listened to me and made me feel comfortable. The nurse who took my vitals and blood sample did the same. As someone who gets anxiety in a medical setting this is important to me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Mathew. He was punctual, listened, and provided next steps for my range of health concerns. The physical exam was thorough. He provided additional suggestions and referrals related to my age—65. I would say this was my most comfortable and professional doctor’s appointment.
