About
Dr. Antonio Pessegueiro obtained his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) at UCLA. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at the UCLA Medical Center. He joined the faculty at UCLA in 2010 as a hospitalist. Dr. Pessegueiro currently serves as the Director of the Medical Education Pathway for the UCLA Internal Medicine Residency Training Program and is Director for the Intersessions Course at DGSOM. He also serves as Director of the UCLA Preoperative Medicine Consultation Clinic in Westwood. His interests include medical student and resident education, curriculum development, and perioperative medicine. He completed the UCLA Fellowship in Medical Education in 2016. Dr. Pessegueiro is board certified in internal medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
