About
Dr. Arjan Gower is a hematologist and medical oncologist in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. He specializes in the management of lung and breast cancer, and conducts translational and clinical research in lung and breast cancer.
Prior to UCLA, Dr. Gower received a Master’s Degree in Tumor Biology at Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Certificate in Statistics in Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and his hematology/oncology fellowship at UCLA. He has given lectures at national conferences and was the winner of the Rubenstein Award for research at Cedars-Sinai. His research has been published in many prominent journals.
Dr. Gower is a member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society for Hematology (ASH), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
