About

Calvin Fong MD grew up in Los Angeles and Ventura County. He received his BA in Medical Science and Psychology from Boston University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine. He returned to Southern California and completed Family Medicine residency and East-West Medicine fellowship at UCLA. He has since joined the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine with the goal of providing holistic and humanistic care for patients. He incorporates lifestyle recommendations, acupuncture, cupping, and trigger point injections into his treatment for various ailments and diseases. His areas of interest include chronic pain, chronic fatigue, supportive cancer care, mental health, and asthma. He is a member of the asthma specialty group, a multidisciplinary team providing holistic and expert asthma care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
