About
Dr. Darrick Lee is a primary care physician who practices in Downtown Los Angeles. He was born and raised in the Bay Area. He attended the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then earned his medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. He returned to California, where he completed his Family Medicine residency training at Dignity Health - California Hospital and Eisner Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) where he worked with the uniquely medically underserved population in the area around Downtown Los Angeles.
His clinical interests include preventative care and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. He also has a special focus in the management of HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and chronic Hepatitis C Virus treatment for which he was awarded the AFMRD Family Medicine Award for Scholarship for his role in training other providers on the treatment of chronic Hepatitis C Virus in a primary care setting.
During his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and practicing yoga.
