Irene completed her master’s degree in nursing at UCLA in 2012. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. She has previously provided care for patients in pediatric surgery, pediatric colorectal surgery and advanced bowel management. Irene provides family-centered care focused on improving quality-of-life outcomes for children, adolescents and young adults with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
