Jacqueline Gallardo, MD

Dr. Jacqueline Gallardo is a primary care physician who practices in San Luis Obispo. She is board certified in Family Medicine and sees patients of all ages. She enjoys building long term relationships with patients while promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. She believes high-quality, compassionate patient care is best achieved through shared decision-making and open communication. While practicing whole-person care, her clinical interests include preventive medicine, women’s health, diabetes, pediatrics and minor procedures.

Dr. Gallardo received her medical degree with high honors from RU School of Medicine. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at Mount Sinai South Nassau in New York, where she served as Academic Chief Resident and as a Wellness Committee Chairperson. Prior to that, she graduated with high honors from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Science. 

Dr. Gallardo was born and raised in Southern California. After training in New York, she is happy to be back in her home state, with perfect weather and near her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures, exploring towns and cities by walking.
