Joanne O. Pasco, FNP

Joanne Ostrea Pasco is a Nurse Practitioner in the Health Risk Assessment program at UCLA. With her background in primary care and geriatrics, Joanne truly enjoys getting to know her patients as individuals and helping them achieve their healthies selves. She values the importance of patient-centered care. She believes that when patients are encouraged to take an active role in their condition management such as shared decision-making, it increases treatment adherence and patient satisfaction which in turn leads to improvement of patient's mental and physical well-being. For Joanne, making a difference to a patient's life, has always been a calling as well as a privilege.
