Juvy F. Wiley, NP

Juvy received her bachelor of science in nursing in the Philippines in 2002 and started working as a registered nurse at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in the liver transplant/surgical unit, where she provided critical care primarily to liver, small bowel and pancreas pre- and post-transplant patients. She then worked in the cardiac ICU for 16 years and provided care for heart transplant patients and patients critically ill with cardiovascular disorders. While working in the cardiac ICU, she pursued her master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Simmons University, Boston. Juvy joined UCLA Digestive Diseases, where she will join a team offering a variety of treatments to patients with GI disorders including IBD, GERD, motility disorders, disorders of the gut-brain axis and gastrointestinal bleeding and providing colorectal cancer screening.
