About
Dr. Lama Matni Abdelnour is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Living Donor Kidney Transplant Program, based in Westwood. She is board certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Abdelnour completed her internal medicine training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas and her nephrology fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Dr. Abdelnour's clinical interest includes general nephrology, with a focus on glomerular diseases such as IgA nephropathy, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), membranous nephropathy, minimal change disease, Lupus Nephritis, and ANCA vasculitis. She is also committed to the evaluation and health optimization of living kidney donors.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Abdelnour serves as a principal investigator on several research projects, advancing knowledge in both glomerular diseases and living kidney donation.
