Lina Bokhetache Hadj Smaine, DO

Dr. Lina Bokhetache Hadj Smaine is board certified family medicine physician at UCLA Health in West Hills.

Dr. Hadj Smaine graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Biology and French from University of Houston. She published her honors thesis on a genome analysis project she completed with the university and Baylor College of Medicine. 

She obtained her medical degree from Touro University of Nevada and subsequently completed a full-spectrum family medicine residency training at Riverside University Health System-University of California, Riverside. There, she was among CAFP resident poster winners, she was awarded the Resident Patient Care Award, and received 1st place at RUHS Research Symposium for the clinical research she completed evaluating the benefits of follow-up visits by telephone for the treatment of depression. Dr. Hadj Smaine’s clinical skills are focused on improving the patient’s health by providing whole-person comprehensive care and outpatient procedural services. She enjoys seeing patients of all aged and has a particular interest in women’s health, medical education, and racial/ethnic health disparities. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hadj Smaine loves spending time with her children, family and friends, painting, baking and traveling.
