Dr. Louise Stewart is a board certified dermatologist who practices in Santa Barbara. With over twenty years of practice in Santa Barbara, Dr. Stewart is an experienced clinician who enjoys treating general dermatology patients of all ages, as well as patients seeking consultation for aesthetic concerns. Her special interests include acne, hyperpigmentation, inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, contact dermatitis and diagnosis and prevention of skin cancer. In addition, Dr. Stewart's expertise encompasses cosmetic procedures such as filler injection, neurotoxin injection and vein sclerotherapy.
Dr. Stewart obtained her MD from Case Western Reserve University, and completed her dermatology residency at Harbor-UCLA after two years of Internal Medicine residency at University of New Mexico. Following residency, she studied skin allergy and patch testing at The Skin Hospital in Manchester. Prior to joining UCLA, Dr. Stewart has practiced dermatology in Los Angeles, Boca Raton, Florida and Santa Barbara.
When she is out of the office, Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, gardening, e-biking and beekeeping. Dr. Stewart is delighted to be practicing in Santa Barbara with UCLA Health
