About

Dr. Matthew Carroll is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at UCLA Health and a Hospitalist. His interests include primary prevention and early detection of disease to improve health outcomes across all areas of healthcare. He is passionate about biomedical innovation, medical education,  and health equity. He was selected as a member of the UCLA Biodesign Program in order to develop the next generation of healthcare through biomedical innovation. 

Dr. Carroll is originally from Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine with honors. He completed his internship and residency at UCLA. Dr. Carroll is board certified in Internal Medicine.
