Dr Sumina was very thorough with asking questions regarding my condition. She explained the physiological condition of my cough. She prescribed the medications to help me and explained what each one did for me and detailed when and how often to take them. She is top notch and I’m so thankful for her care. I felt that the physician and care partner were rushed. Although my exam was completed and comfortable enough I did not feel heard nor were my expectations met. I had previously made a second appointment to address additional health concerns other than my annual physical. I was told I couldn’t have back to back appointments but my doctor would address my concerns during the visit. That was not done. I am disappointed with my visit.

Dr Sumina has been my Primary Dr for over 10 years. Since I moved here from Michigan to take care of my Mom, 24/7. She remembers my Mom fondly as she took care of my Mom as well. Dr Sumina’s approach to my health is to provide me with information so I can make the best decisions about my on-going healthcare. She encourages me to be “active” so I can keep my bones strong and my muscles toned. She asks me about my balance and mental acuity because of my age; 76 years old. We discuss how to stay healthy by eating a balanced, nutritious meals/snacks. To stay hydrated. She always answers my questions . Dr Sumina reviewed my medical chart and made me aware of vaccinations I might consider having. I had already requested a COVID vaccination for this visit. We discussed me having a Mammogram, a Bone density tests and seeing a Dermatologist for possible suspect spot on my arm. I’m also making an appointment to see an Audiologist. Dr Sumina helps me to be as healthy as I can be. It’s up to me to do ALL that I can to be healthy . I am always confident of my health care with Dr Sumina.
