About

Dr. Hanna is a cardiac electrophysiologist specialized in all areas of arrhythmia management including pacemaker and defibrillator implantation and complex ablation procedures for arrhythmias such as supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, premature ventricular complexes, and ventricular tachycardia. He earned his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University in 2013 and his PhD from UCLA in 2021. After internal medicine residency training at the University of California San Francisco, he completed his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowship training at UCLA. Upon completion of his training, he joined the faculty at UCLA.

He is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialties of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he performs translational research to better understand the pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and the Heart Rhythm Society.
