Dr. Richard Kim received his undergraduate degree at the Pennsylvania State University, and his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College. He is a board certified Family Medicine physician, and enjoys seeing patients from their teen years through senior adult. Dr. Kim sees the physician as a teacher, whose job it is to guide and encourage patients to learn, and make the best decisions for themselves, as personal autonomy is his fundamental guiding principle.

He was very pleasant, willing to answer questions as they came up and showed interest in my well-being. I didn’t realize when he left, though, that he didn’t intend to return. (I had a couple of additional referrals to request.) The staff was able to help me with those things.

Dr. Richard Kim is an exemplary physician! Great experience with this appointment. He was running late, but that was fine because he has great people skills. That’s key. He listened to my issues, I even found out for one of those issues I can get a form of physical therapy that can improve my quality of life by 80%. Aside from that, his insights were appreciated.
