Sandra H. Sacks, MD, MEd

Dr. Sandra Sacks is a board-certified pain management physician who specializes in cancer pain. She works closely with the Oncology services in Santa Monica and Encino, with a special focus in multimodal medical management and minimally-invasive interventions to address the complex nature of cancer pain.

Dr. Sacks received her medical degree from Boston University. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University and went on to pursue further sub-specialization training in both Interventional Pain Medicine and Palliative Medicine. She is triple board-certified in Anesthesiology, Palliative Medicine, and Pain Medicine.

She is committed to providing high-quality, personal care to patients and their families. Her goal is to treat the whole person and advocates for an interdisciplinary team approach to minimize symptom burden and improve the quality of lives of cancer patients.

Outside of clinic, she has a special interest in medical education, physician and trainee wellness and burnout prevention.
