Dr. Umar is a physician-scientist and a practicing anesthesiologist at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center. He does general anesthesia including multi-specialty adult anesthesia and anesthesia for labor and delivery. Dr. Umar is the Research Coordinator for Anesthesiology Residency Program at UCLA.
Dr. Umar has an academic background in basic cardiovascular research and has his laboratory in the Center for Health Sciences (CHS). Dr. Umar has interests in innovative research in Cardiovascular Medicine and Anesthesiology.
