About
Dr. Venus M. Oliva is a Southern California native who completed her Bachelor degree in Psychology and Master of Science in Global Medicine from USC. She completed her medical education as a part of the inaugural class at Campbell University in North Carolina, then moved to Philadelphia to complete a dual residency program in Family Medicine-Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson Northeast Health system. She is currently working on her fellowship in Wilderness Medicine through Wilderness Medical Society.

Dr Oliva and all the staff at Santa Monica Urgent Care stand out among UCLA health professionals.They are super organized, well informed, highly professional and skilled, kind and compassionate. I came in re: a facial/oral injury and Dr Oliva had to place a number of sutures inside my mouth and on my upper lip. She was so careful, gentle, and so organized. I'm really impressed.
