Victoria H. Yom, MD

Dr. Victoria H. Yom, MD, MS is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Doheny Eye Center UCLA. She specializes in cornea and external diseases, providing expert care for conditions such as keratoconus, corneal infections, dry eye, and ocular surface diseases. Dr. Yom practices in Westwood and Pasadena, offering both medical and surgical treatments tailored to her patients' needs.

Dr. Yom earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with a double major in Political Science and Immunology as a Regents’ Scholar. She completed her medical degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, followed by a transitional year internship at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital and pursued fellowship training in Cornea and External Diseases at UCLA/Doheny Eye Institute.

An accomplished educator and researcher, Dr. Yom has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and frequently lectures on topics related to cornea and external diseases. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Cornea Society, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
