Zinat Hashmy, LMFT

Zinat Hashmy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her master’s degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. Zinat Hashmy has worked with the county, in residential group homes, inpatient treatment centers, school based settings, and private practice. She wanted to learn from a range of different settings to really understand how to help people.

She has worked with individuals who suffered from depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, to name a few. She uses a range of therapeutic modalities because she understands that each therapy style needs to be catered to each individual person. She specializes in Solution Focused, Person Centered, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Zinat understands that everyone is unique and different and that one way does not work for everyone. She enjoys working with people to help them reach the goals they want and to provide assistance in keeping them on the path to success.
