Things to Keep in Mind Before Scheduling
What kind of appointment do you need? Various kinds of appointments are billed to health insurance differently, so it’s important to tell the office your reason for scheduling. Options include:
- Mental health services
- Care coordination (for patients with chronic medical conditions and many specialists)
- Preventive care, physicals and check-ups
- Immunizations
- Routine screenings for cancer and other diseases
- Well care for children and adults
- Same-day appointments
- Travel medicine, including immunizations
If you have new symptoms you’d like to discuss, or you’re unsure of what kind of appointment you need, please let us know when you schedule the appointment.
