This straightforward modern hotel, conveniently situated to provide accommodation for Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center patients and their families, is a 4-minute walk from Hammer Museum, and 7 miles from Santa Monica Pier. Simple rooms include free Wi-Fi, en suite bathrooms and minifridges. Upgraded rooms add kitchenettes, and suites offer separate sitting areas. Complimentary amenities include continental breakfast, and shuttle service to the UCLA campus, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and UCLA Medical Plaza. There's also a communal kitchen and a business center, as well as a fitness room and a game room. Laundry facilities are available.

Who we are

The Tiverton is a 100-room hotel designed to meet the needs of patients and their families.
 
Conveniently located on the corner of Le Conte and Tiverton avenues in the heart of Westwood, The Tiverton is only a short walk from the UCLA Campus. We are also just a few blocks away from the Hammer Museum, the Geffen Playhouse, UCLA Live, shops, grocery and drug stores, and restaurants. The beach is about three miles away.

Guest Services & Hotel Amenities

Guests are welcome to use our complimentary shuttle service, which offers rides to and from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Medical Plaza during the weekdays.

We offer accommodations for all patients (including those requiring outpatient procedures) and their families. Visitors to the UCLA campus are also welcome at The Tiverton. Complimentary continental breakfast is served daily in the second floor lounge. Coffee and tea service is available 24 hours a day in the guest lounge.

Comfortable Rooms

Our welcoming, smoke-free environment offers guests the choice of comfortable rooms, each with two double beds, or spacious studios equipped with king size beds, a sitting area, and microwave.

Check-In/Check-Out

Guests are welcome to check-in to The Tiverton at 3:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Our check-out time is Noon on the day of your departure.

Cancellation Policy  

Please cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Rates 

Rates are based on single or double occupancy. Rates are exempt from the 14 percent hotel tax.

Please call the front desk at (310) 794-0151 for room rates and availability. Room types are subject to change. All of our rates include baseline room features and standard hotel amenities.

Our rooms are equipped with either shower or tub options and we have a total of 22 ADA rooms with both mobility and communications features.

Front Desk

A courteous member of our customer service staff is available around the clock to provide assistance, help with directions or simply answer any questions guests may have regarding their stay with us.

Internet Access

We offer Internet access to our guests. For travelers with mobile devices, we have wireless access throughout the hotel.  We also have two computers for guest use, so you can browse the internet and check your email.

Continental Breakfast

A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily in the second-floor lounge. We also provide complimentary coffee and tea service, which are only part of the unique array of amenities tailored to meet the specific needs of Tiverton guests.

Free Parking

Parking is provided free of charge in our hotel garage.

Shuttle Service

RRUCLA Medical Center offers a shuttle for patient guests and their families. Please stop by our front desk in-person and a guest service agent will assist you.

Visitors are welcome to use the complimentary BruinBus Campus Shuttle service, which offers rides to and from various locations on the UCLA campus. The shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Beautiful Outdoor Areas

Guests can enjoy the tranquility of our outdoor sitting area, attractively landscaped with fountains and seasonal flowers.

Lounge Areas

Two inviting, cozy lounge areas (one equipped with a big screen television) are available to our guest and their visitors.

Art Collection

The Tiverton has decorated the public areas and rooms with original artwork, including paintings, ceramics, sculptures and photographs that have been either donated or commissioned from California artists.

The Tiverton is designed to offer convenient housing for UCLA Health System patients and their families during times of medical emergencies or prolonged treatments.

Housing Assistance Program

Tiverton Make a Difference

To ease the burden of financial worry, the Housing Assistance Program supplements qualified families with low-cost housing options. With your support, The Tiverton aims to offer housing and hospital dining commons meal vouchers to its guests, to allow families to concentrate on healing rather than where they will sleep or eat.

The Tiverton provides more than $200,000 annually in assistance to families. These funds make a world of difference to the many patients and their loved ones who need a place to stay. 

Through this program we are able to help families inquire about possible financial assistance through their own private insurance, provide a comprehensive list of local hotels and apartment facilities, and in some cases provide discounted accommodations.
