UCLA Fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery (MRMS)
Overview
The one-year fully funded fellowship focuses on all aspects of the diagnostic and therapeutic management of male patients with infertility, sexual dysfunction and related conditions. This is a clinical fellowship with ample opportunity for research in the basic sciences, clinical or population studies. The fellow will practice with faculty primarily at the Men’s Clinic at UCLA Santa Monica and Westwood with clinical responsibilities in a multi-disciplinary Endocrinology/Urology and Andrology clinic at an outlying UCLA institution. Upon completion of the fellowship, the fellow will be suited to pursue a career in either academic urology or private sector. The fellow will graduate with advanced skills in microsurgery, penile prosthetics, Peyronie’s Disease surgery and all modalities of surgical sperm extraction. He or she will be fully able to manage all aspects of male reproductive medicine and surgery.
Applicant Qualifications
Candidates must be physician graduates of medical school (allopathic or osteopathic,) must have completed a US residency in urology, and must apply for a California medical license prior to starting the program in July.
