Hours of Verification and Certificate of Completion

You may request a print-out of your volunteer hours and/or Certificate of Completion upon completing 100 volunteer service hours. Once you have completed the "Hours Request Form", please email it to Student Volunteer at [email protected]  Please allow two weeks for processing.

Additional awards and certificates are available to volunteers who exemplify exceptional service and commitment to the volunteer program. Listed below are awards you may receive once you have reached a particular milestone in your volunteer path.

200 Hour Pin (gold) – awarded after completion of 200 service hours to the program and completion of 2 special events (i.e. working on one of our “special requests” such as the flu clinic or disaster drill) e-mail notifications of special events are sent weekly via e-mail to all student volunteers. 300 Hour Pin (blue) – awarded after completion of 300 service hours to the program and completion of 3 special events.

400 Hour Pin (crystal) – awarded after completion of 400 service hours to the program and completion of 4 special events.

500 Hour Pin (special pin) – awarded after completion of 500 service hours to the program and completion of 5 special events.

Letters of recommendation are at the discretion of your individual supervisor and may only be requested after completing 100 hours of service. 

Bonus (merit) hours may not be included in actual “service” hours but will be used in awarding certificates/pins/letters.
