Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital is dedicated to meeting the needs of children with respiratory disorders as well as expanding the knowledge of pulmonary disease in infants, children and adolescents.
Our pediatric pulmonologists are well-published and recognized, both nationally and internationally, for their expertise in a wide-range of pediatric pulmonary disorders that include asthma, cystic fibrosis, infant apnea, chronic respiratory failure (ventilator-dependent) and lung transplantation.
Our division takes a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. In addition to pediatric pulmonologists, our team includes a range of pediatric specialists as well as social workers, nurses, dieticians and respiratory specialists who offer support, training and education to patients and their families.
We are recognized by the California State Newborn Screening Program as a referral specialty clinic with an accredited multidisciplinary team for the care of cystic fibrosis newborn infants.
