Pediatric Nephrology
The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital provides care for infants, children and adolescents with kidney disorders and conditions. All of our faculty members are nationally and internationally recognized and together provide superior clinical care, conduct leading edge research, including multicenter trials on new drugs to treat anemia, transplant rejection, renal bone disease, basic research in the development of renal bone disease and transplant rejection, and train future leaders in the field of pediatric nephrology.
Our division takes a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. In addition to pediatric nephrologists, our team includes specialized pediatric nurses, child-life experts, social workers and dietitians who provide education and support to patients and families.
