Scientific Interests

Dr. Anne Walling is a palliative care physician and Ph.D.-level trained health services researcher with an interest in providing high quality supportive care to patients throughout the trajectory of serious illness. Much of her work has focused on measuring and improving the quality of care for patients with cancer. She has expertise with systematic literature review, primary data collection, medical record abstraction, survey development and qualitative methods, as well as advanced statistical methods and programming.
