Scientific Interests

Dr. Jennifer Baker conducts translational and clinical research focused on precision treatment and improving oncologic outcomes in breast cancer. Her specific research interests include:

  • evaluating how exercise exposure may alter breast cancer risk and/or effect outcomes of breast cancer therapy;
  • tailoring the surgical management of breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy;
  • standardizing how surgeons approach high risk breast lesions; and
  • improving surgical technique and outcomes in nipple sparing mastectomy.
