Dr. Jonathan King's research interest is the biology of metastases in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and he has extramural grant support to investigate the role of exosomes in facilitating peritoneal metastases. His research aims to clarify the role pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma exosomes have in preparing the pre-metastatic niche in the peritoneal cavity with the goal of developing treatment(s) to prevent the development of metastases.
