Scientific Interests
Dr. Hashibe's areas of expertise are cancer survivorship, health disparities and global and molecular cancer epidemiology. Her current grants include a rural cancer survivors cohort in Utah and SEER-Medicare (NCI R01 ), and recurrence identification for breast and prostate cancer patients with novel data linkages (NCI R01 ). Her studies include data pooling in the International Head and Neck Cancer Epidemiology (INHANCE) consortium, case-control studies in Nepal and East Asia, and cancer survivor cohorts based on population-based data such as SEER-Medicare.
