Scientific Interests

Dr. Nalo Hamilton's research focuses on the discovery of biomarkers that influence ethnic variability in the development, progression and clinical outcome of women with breast cancer. The current focus of Hamilton's research is the mechanism of IGF-2 induced phosphorylation of the estrogen receptors and the occurrence of this event in breast cancer cells from women with estrogen-independent tumors.
