Scientific Interests

Dr. Salani's research is focused on identifying novel therapies for advanced and recurrent cervical cancer with an emphasis on immunotherapy. Currently, she is the Principal Investigator of a trial evaluating the role of immunotherapy in combination with chemoradiation for advanced cervical cancer as well as trial of a novel combination of immunotherapy in recurrent cervical cancer. She is also focused on optimizing best practices for surveillance after cancer treatment and improving patient centered outcomes during cancer treatment.
